How to make Bacon Guac Bombs?
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 jalapeño, minced (optional)
- 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8–10 slices bacon (thin or regular cut works best)
Instructions:
- Make the Guacamole Filling: In a bowl, mash the avocados and mix with lime juice, onion, jalapeño, cilantro, salt, and pepper. Chill for 10–15 minutes to firm up slightly.
- Form the Bombs: Scoop guac into small balls (use a tablespoon or small cookie scoop). Place them on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for about 20–30 minutes, just until firm.
- Wrap with Bacon: Cut bacon slices in half if needed. Wrap each guac ball with a piece of bacon, fully enclosing the guac. Secure with toothpicks if necessary.
- Cook:
- Air Fryer: Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 10–15 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Oven: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes on a rack over a baking sheet.
- Cook until bacon is crispy all over.
- Cool Slightly & Serve: Let rest for 5 minutes. Serve warm or at room temp.
