How to make Kale Chips at home?


Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch fresh kale
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • Optional seasonings:
  • Garlic powder
  • Nutritional yeast (for a cheesy flavor)
  • Smoked paprika or chili flakes

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Kale: Wash and thoroughly dry the kale. Remove the thick stems and tear leaves into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Season: In a large bowl, massage the kale with olive oil and seasonings until well coated.
  3. Air Fry: Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Place kale in the basket in a single layer (cook in batches if needed).
  5. Air fry for 4–6 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  6. Watch closely—kale chips crisp up quickly and can burn fast!
  7. Cool and Enjoy: Let chips cool slightly—they’ll crisp up even more as they rest.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2–3 days. Add a paper towel to help absorb moisture and retain crispness.
